I have paid the contract portion of a loan in full all principle and interest.?

Can the bank repossess the equipment over unpaid late fees in the state of Connecticut. Again the principle and interest is paid in full. Also are late fees in the amount of 20% of the monthly payment legal in CT or in FL which was were the contract was signed.
