Is a Facebook profile really ever completely gone?

There was a fake profile on Facebook, her name was Chelsea, and she was using photos of site model Jenny Greenwood and saying they were hers. I called her out on it, and she unfriended and blocked me. I reported her, and now she has deleted her account. A friend of mine was also friends with her, and she wrote as her status that she was going to delete her Facebook. Is her profile really and completely gone, or can Facebook still find it and track her?
