My husband and I live in california and 4 years ago my husband cosigned on a vehicle loan for his parents. Okay, I'm not a prisoner, but I am just wondering what happens to his finances when he gets sent to prison. Obviously he can't work, so wont be earning, but assuming he has a mortgage, a credit card, utility bills etc, do these bills get frozen by the creditor until he comes out of prison, or do they just repossess his house from him?

Income tax refunds CANNOT be seized for that kind of debt. Unfortunately, those court divorce papers DO NOT legally absolve his responsibility to the bank automatically. That paper only assigns the responsibility of paying the debt to her. THEY can legally go after him (estate) for the money and THEN the estate would have to sue the ex for repayment of anything paid out to the bank.

Swollen lympnotes, troubling swallowing with flu like symptoms :(?

3 days ago I woke up with a swollen throat, on the right side only. Both of my lymphnotrs are swollen in my neck, by my throat and are very tender to the touch. 8 hours after I woke up with these symptoms, I developed flu like symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, and dizziness (common flu sumptoms) but I didn't experience a site throat, running nose, or cough. I feel much better now, I'm still experiencing the same symptoms with my throat, but it's gotten better than before. My flu is going away as well, I have an appetite. Chapter 7 Bankruptcy question?

My husband and I filed a chapter 7 Bankruptcy and had our 341 meeting yesterday. We live in Pennsylvania. As part of the chapter 7, we were planning on reaffirming our mortgage and 1 vehicle loan. It is coming back tomorrow as the finance company went against the rules by not releasing it on the docket or notifying us of the repossession. Our issue is, we are now thinking of including the vehicle in the bankruptcy after all since we are already under water with it, and we have not yet signed a reaffirm notice. My question is, can we get a car loan during an open chapter 7, how should we go about doing so, and is there anything we need to do? I don't want to jeopardize the bankruptcy while it is open. How Do I Cope After A Good Friend's Death?

My good friend, Rachel Susowski, just died. She'd been puking up this white **** and had been in the hospital for 3 weeks already. So by the time I got there, (I'd been on a business trip to Seattle), she was really bad. She'd puked it up at least 5 times by the time I got there. Then her line went dead and ****. And then it started beeping again. Then she started coughing up blood and she had a seizure. Then she'd been sedated. She seemed peaceful. This other girl I know died in a horrible car accident in Las Vegas in March and her sister killed herself. I don't want my friend Sara, Rachel's sister to kill herself. I'm not going to kill myself. I'm used to people dying. It's the world we live in, but not my friends. That's just a lot to take in. So, can someone help me? And I do NOT believe in God, so don't tell me to pray. If you have been out in the sun a lot this past week, you could have "Heat exhaustion", which means you were outside in the heat and sun too long which causes many of your symptoms. My 2nd idea is, a terrible cold. My sister had many of your symptoms about a year ago, and the doctor just said she had a terrible cold, and he gave her meds for like 3-4weeks. My asthma was acting up really badly earlier this year. They had to see me to an allergist eventually. I stayed on coughing medicine for about 4 months. My son is about 1 month old and he is very sick. When a lender repossess a car, they normally sell it at auction for whatever they can get. They then sue you for the balance of what you borrowed against the car. Your obligation to pay the loan, does not end when the car is repossessed. It ends after you satisfy the original loan, regardless how little the car sold for at auction.

ABUSIVE BANK, NISSAN CORPORATE ACCEPTANCE?

Someone please advice me on this... My husband bought a car last year which he could afford at the time but not any more, and got a 15% interest which makes his payments 800 a month for an 06 infinity, lately we have been making late payments since income has decreased and Nissan Corporate decided to raise our interest to 24% which is a ridiculous 500 a month just on interest!! besides we recently found out that they were charching us 12.88 PER DAY for late payments which is almost 400 for one month late! besides the extra $5 for late payment... Been coughing up white stuff a week now.?

At first I just had a cough then within a couple days I was having nonstop coughing fits. About 2 days into the cough I started coughing up white mucus like stuff. Walked into a JCT600 dealership and explained that I want a car but have bad credit. My dad had agreed to take the finance in his name,all the forms were signed and finance was agreed. In my building we have a neighbor who is about 60 years old. When we first moved in he'd ask my husband to fix his tv for him. Then he asked for a stick of butter, and then he started asking to use our phone. lastnight I had some alcohol. Never got drunk but did feel really sleepy. Anyways, later on I was up and fine but my heart flutterd (skipped a beat) which produced a short cough. This is common when someones heart skips a beat ...to cough. I had heart trodes placed on my chest years ago as I was concerned as to why my heart skipped a beat now and then. They never found anything. So, lastnight as I said it happened again. I know that alcohol may have caused my heart to skip or flutter. I took noticed but it passed fast. So, today (sunday) I was in my room and started seeing this silvery wavy line in front of my vision. I of course panicked. Soon it went from the silvery lines in my front vision to a kalidescope type vision out of the corner of my eye. When I went to read the small black print on the laptop it was as if this black line stuff was running through my vision. Totally freaked it lasted about oh..... ten minutes? So I was taken to urgent care, but I decided not to go inside because I was feeling better. I did feel a minor headache come on so Im thinking it might of been a kind of migraine. I have never had the vision thing occur like that before that I can remember. The heart beat skip/ flutter might have been due to something other than this? Not sure? Okay so at school, I am part of the African American Culture Group at my school. I was going to explain things, but they are very hostile to me. They don't look at me or say hi to me when I greet them in the hallways, they never look at me when I talk to them, and one instance, I asked how this one girl was doing, she sighed when she looked at me, and said nothing. My friend told me that the sponsor, who is his teacher, told the class a story. She didn't mention my name, but he said she talked about a guy in an organization she sponsored (she sponsors 3 groups, and the other 2 are tutoring groups), and she told them that this person was lazy, and probably an officer just to put it in a college application. She said that he was from a different culture, and probably that is why he was lacking apathy. That is really not true. I found a good deal at an authorized toyota dealer: an almost new Toyota Corolla with only 960 miles on it for 15,500. I think you have a right to feel the way you feel. You feel that she hasnt given you enough attention. It's always good to rise above one's feelings of insecurity and if you want to go, just go. It will give you a opportunity to see if you still enjoy being with her. This happens a lot when someone gets a boy friend so you are not alone. Okay. First of all, I am 11 weeks 1 day pregnant. Four days ago, I had a horrible headache. I layed in bed all day with cold compresses and took children's tylenol. The headache eased up, but now I have pain in my upper neck/ back of my head. I also have a sore throat (shouldnt be strep bc I have not had that since my tonsils were taken out 7 years ago at age 18). My throat is itchy and makes me cough quite a bit. When I wake up I feel like I have a lot of drainage between my nose and throat (almost like a post nasal drip that is clogged up). I do not have a fever and my temperature has ranged between 98.4-99.5 for the last four days. My main concern is my general ill feeling and pain in my neck/ back of head. It feels stiff when I try to turn it side to side and backwards, but not when I touch my chin to my chest. Has anyone experienced these symptoms before and do you thnk this is a trip to the ER or an after hours clinic?

Fruit fast (eat only fruit), eat as much fruit as u like, including bananas and pineapple. You will loose weight quickly and feel great. Yes. If you have a stiff neck, that's a serious problem. I was thinking it could be allergies at first, because those are some of the same symptoms I have when the pollen is bad but if you have a stiff neck and pain down your spine in addition to the rest you really should go see the doctor, a clinic, or even the hospital.

Ok so this all started when I got a REALLY bad sore throat I couldn't even swallow my own saliva . I lost my voice for about three days and my throat wold tingle and burn ...I had strep before and it felt the same way and I started taking antibiotics the first day I had diareah and also the second day and third day . I don't think it was from the antibiotics ,because from my experience you get diareah from antibiotics in the middle of your treatment . Well anyway within the first day of taking the antibiotics my throat was much better ....within the second day I started getting a runny nose I have been on antibiotics for four days now and last night I had tO breath from my throat because my nose has been stuffy . My question is ....is this normal for strep throat ? Can you get what it feels like a cold ? My nose has no mocus its just watery .my eyes get really watery and my throat ever since I have been taking the antibiotics is coughing up mocus ....and this cough can take a while till the mocus comes out no more than 15 to. 30 minutes .....lol sorry if this is too graphic . I'm pretty sure its strep because my throat had the red bumps and a little bit of white dots ....strep right like duh . But now I'm so confused . If its not strep and I'm taking anti biotics isent that bad ? But its something because as soon as I took the antibiotics my throat got a lot better .....somebody help me ! Thank you .

Any Corvette owners out there?

Okay, so I'm about to turn 18 in a few months, and my grandparents left me a little money. I'm going to pay for my college with it, but I want a little something nice for once. My family never had anything nicer than a 2007 PT Cruiser, and that got repossessed a few months after they bought it. So, I've put a lot of thought into this and I've decided I want a Corvette. I've had my heart set on one ever since I was little, and I'm finally going to be able to get one. Now I don't want to go all out buying a new one or something, I'm not planning on spending more than 30,000 on it. But I'd just like to know, (from the people that own one) about how much does it cost to maintain one and have. About how much does insurance run, I know it's pretty expensive, but I've never had any wrecks or been pulled over... granted I've only been driving 3 years now. I won't be driving it THAT much, but potentially everyday for maybe 20 miles or so on average. So for any owners out there, do you think it would be an okay investment for a student to buy one? Also, do they hold up well for someone that would be driving it everyday pretty much? Thanks in advance, anything you can tell me would be a big help! :)

I have developed a cough over the winter that lasted a good 1-2 months. I went to the doctor and was told it was post nasal drip. They gave me meds which never seemed to do good. It eventually went away. Now I'm here in June and I have sickness again, which was determined by my doctor to be acute bronchitis. I know that I need to quit smoking, as that seems to be the only way I can kill this thing. Does anyone have any idea as to what could be wrong with me? Is it really just acute bronchitis, or could it be something more? please help!

Fell asleep one night about a week ago then woke up suddenly and went to wash my face although I was hot?

since then i have had a sore throat that hurts when I swallow, a headache and my eyes hurt and are red and when i wake up my eyes are stuck down with discharge. I feel like I am doing to die. Plan to go to the doc in the morning. I also have a dry cough and a pain along my jaw. It hurts my eyes worse to eve use the pc. Does anyone know what this is called and what I caN DO IN THE MEAN TIME?

Persistent cough & hurt bottom teeth? What is wrong with me?

I keep having a persistent cough...very sporadic. I will be fine for most of the day then get this cough cycle start. The cough doesn't sound wet & rarely do I have an mucus from it. I've tried everything...allergy meds and cough meds, nothing totally gets rid of it. Then, to top it off, my front bottom teeth are hurting from out of no where. Not sure what this might be...no health insurance so I need some answers...thanks.

Throat pain, I need help?

Sorry this is long...okay, here's what happened...my throat's been sore for a few weeks now, partially cuz i've had a cough. I take singing lessons and chorus stuff like that and I was so tempted to sing I did like five times duringmy sore throat, now it's red and not that painful but it is a bit irritating. I tried drinking hot tea, it helps but just now I drank some hot tea, it was really hot but it didn't really cause me pain. I ate some of the warm honey afterwards, now my throat hurts, I think it's cuz of the honey cuz honey's always made my throat tingle (not that I'm allergic it still helps me) but I'm scared that I've damage my voice. Sorry I'm so paranoid, I just want to be a singer and I'm really careful about taking care of my voice... please help will I be OK?

Help really bad dry cough?

I've had a bad cough for about a week now. Sometimes when I'm talking I choke because I cough. I don't have asthma or any allergies. It's a dry cough. I also didn't have a cold or the flu or a fever, it just started as a small cough, and got worse. I'm going to the doctor soon, but does anyone know what this might be?

What is up with this cough?

Last week on Sunday night I was recovering from a small cold I had had for only a couple days. That night I developed a semi-dry cough that continued for 4 or 5 days. On the 4th day it became a completely dry cough that was giving me headaches. Thankfully the cough recessed a little and was as severe. This happened on Friday. It is now Tuesday night and I still have the cough but it is getting better at least I think. I want to know what it is I had or still have. I am a 15 year old male and I do not smoke. Also, in the morning when I get out of bed my cough is not dry but gradually dries out as the day proceeds. I don't take any medication and haven't taken anything for the cough. I have only been drinking lots of tea and getting sleep. Please let me know what you think.

I was hit in the sternum years ago with a heavy box. Initially it didn't hurt much, but later...same symptoms as you. Broke 4 ribs loose from the cartilage that connects them to the sternum. Better go see a doc asap.

Long story short I'm a cleaner for major banks. Got into the 3 story elevator. Pushed button, got zapped so bad I fell down and hurt my hand badly. Elevator goes down to bottom floor, short circuits with white smoke coming out of buttons. Trapped for 45 minutes inhaling that smoke, firefighters pried door open and I got out. Swollen lympnotes, flu symptoms, hard to swallow?

3 days ago I woke up with a swollen throat, on the right side only. Both of my lymphnotrs are swollen in my neck, by my throat and are very tender to the touch. 8 hours after I woke up with these symptoms, I developed flu like symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, and dizziness (common flu sumptoms) but I didn't experience a site throat, running nose, or cough. I feel much better now, I'm still experiencing the same symptoms with my throat, but it's gotten better than before. My flu is going away as well, I have an appetite. I'd like to get answers before I go to the ER because I dont have medical, so my bill will be very expensive if I were to go, so, any advice please? Thank you.

What happened to my flying squirrel?

Well I had originally had 2 flying squirrels named Mac and Cheese and one day Cheese started having seizures ant then 2 weeks later on easter, his back legs went limp and I thought they were paralyzed so I started looking it up online but nothing came up. At 10:08 P.M., he coughed up blood and died in my arms.
