The registration ( or "pink slip" ) will have the name of the bank and your friend; he is legally responsible for the payments on that vehicle.........................if he does not want to make the payments, then he can voluntarily release the vehicle back to the bank - it's the same as a repo, but done voluntarily.............................… will still owe $$ on the vehicle
